Don't Call It A Comeback...

It's been a minute since I've had a moment to post anything and what a minute it's been!  My daughter Jaxon Skyler Cohen is here, healthy, happy, and already quite the ham!  Thank you to all of you who have sent me amazing well wishes she's pretty awesome and I'm so blessed to have her and the super support system (the most amazing husband in the universe and parental units who LOVE to babysit...and my beloved doggies who have been so amazing with the new addition to their family!)...Happy New Year to all and a special congrats to all of us who pulled together to "change" history and vote our little asses off!  I am officially back to work and excited about the freshness that I'll be packaging for the 09'.  I just finished a new mix cd..."Can It Be That It Was All So Simple Then" - Volume 1 (early to mid feel good 90's hip hop) kind of a specific mix some rare gems and some classics...pretty awesome song selections for those who know... I will be posting the link in the next day or so, it's in honor of Adams "Afex" night since I haven't been able to guest dj there yet for obvious reasons...but I'll be headed out to LA soon to do so now that I'm back in action.  

This year I will be traveling more, LA, NY, Miami to DJ, producing my second season of "Sunday in the Valley" sometime in May, partnering in a dope on line concept with my husband and two amazing business partners, djing uber sexy things in Vegas, and hopefully taking a long overdue honeymoon/vacation with my better half sometime in the spring.  

I wish you all mucho health, happiness, and personal success for the 09'...that's it for now...until then enjoy the steak!

944 Magazine October 08' Issue

All good things must come to an end...

I'm a sad to say that our spicy summer party every Tuesday night at the Palms Place has ended. It was a mini summer residency and it was lovely, definitely one of my favorite parties thus far in Vegas. Also, September 5th is the last night of the season for the Friday Nite Live concert series at the Hard Rock.  

I had a great time during Magic, the DimePiece party was a blast..."Ladies Night" at the Ghostbar DJing with two other fab chicks was a lot of fun and kinda special, cat call goes out to Bianca and Rashida, it was a pleasure du jour...and of course thanks to Ashley and Laura from DimePiece for having me.  OH, big thanks a milli to SkullCandy for the many dope pairs of new headphones...LOVE 'EM!

Next up... will be mix cd's for fall, I'm in the lab now...it's been a long time, I shouldn't a left you...but it'll be worth the wait.  Finally going to do a 90's hip hop mix, a new club mix, and of course I have two or three downtempo/neo-soul jems up my sleeve.  

For the fall/winter season I will be expanding my music curating client list and taking a little residency hiatus to focus on my upcoming event in October called "Sunday in the Valley".  For those of you who don't know I do a lot of philanthropy work for animals in my spare time and this event is very dear to me.   If you'd like to receive an invitation, donate to the silent auction, or would like more information go to:
